Last Saturday, Camp County Chili cook off was a huge success, Almost 100 people came out to eat chili form 9 chili cooks. Congratulations to the Lions Club for winning Peoples Choice "Best Chili in Camp County" for the fourth year in a row.
Today, (March 1st) at noon we will cut the ribbon for a new business in town. Woodmen Life has moved into the building with Coffee Break next to Papa Nachos. Come and help us welcome a new business to Pittsburg.
Saturday March 3rd, the Camp County Live Stock Show and Sale, Starts at 10 am. auction at 6:30
Kid's Fish Day, Saturday, March 3rd 10-12 Fair Park
Saturday April 9, the Hwy 271 Car Cruise. About 70 classic Cars from all around East Texas will be in downtown Pittsburg for about an Hour and a Half. Each driver will receive a "Goody" Bag. If you have 70 or so Pens, Cups, Magnets, or anything with your company logo on it that you would like to donate to go in the bags please let me know, I will come pick it up and get it in the bags. Bags will be put together on March 26.
I have made the decision to leave the position as Executive Director. It has been a wonderful experience working with each and everyone of you for the past 7 years. It is time for me to move on. My last day will be March 30, 2018.
